What is Shoe Addicts?

Shoe Addicts is a simple and amusing way to enjoy a world of shoes. Share photos of shoes in everyday situations with your Shoemates. Upload photos straight from your iPhone and enhance them on creative way using borders and thematic filters. Connect with your friends and follow them using Shoeline. Explore beautiful and unique shoes around the world with the simple click on Vitrine. Discover new trends using #Trending and great products using Popular and Nearby.

We want to allow users to explore beautiful and magical shoes around the world through unique pictures that will stimulate their imagination. .

How did the idea come about?

It's very simple - we love shoes! But we always lacked a platform to track new trends, purchase, sales on only one place or to find shoes we need for some occasion. It turned out to be very impractical to spend hours and hours in front of computer reading forums, browsing blogs, fashion websites, online shops... When we needed inspiration or advices, we couldn't find it on one place. So we created mobile application Shoe Addicts to solve these few problems, but also to inspire us.

Using Shoe Addicts you can easy see all informations about shoes you like, such as brand and price. You can communicate with other passionate users and ask them questions about shoes that they post.

We wanted to avoid photos of beautiful shoes on boring store shelves. If you wear shoes every day, why not to show that? Snaping shoes in usual and unusual situations can get a whole new perspective!

Why I can't use app without sharing my location?

It's important to know that we're not interested on your specific location or current position as some other geolocation services. All what interests us is the city where you are located. That is very important because all users can discover global and local trends using Vitrine. In Vitrine you can find Cities and Nearby - lists of major global metropolis with photos of shoes in them and display of shoes that are located near you. Except tracking trend, app can help you in shopping! But that wouldn't be possible if you don't know in which city some shoes are bought, right? Without this information, the application wouldn't be useful.

Someone is stealing my photos!

Shoe Addicts users own their images. If you notice that someone is stealing your photos, please send us your contact and all information on anela@shoeaddicts.me and we'll reply within 24 hours.

What about my privacy?

Your photos are public by default on Shoe Addicts and other services, if you share them. That means that anyone can subscribe to follow your photos.

Logos and icons.

Shoe Addicts logo and icons displayed below may be used on Web sites and in printed materials without specific written permission. It's free and unlimited ;) Use in connection with products, services or other content that is vulgar, obscene or pornographic is not allowed. Please, don't use Shoe Addicts visual identity to promote products or content that isn't related with Shoe Addicts.

Is there app for Android?

Currently not because we have no resources to develop app for other platforms. Considering the fact that some of us are big Android lovers, we are sure that we'll expand as time goes by.
